Smart Veritas Achieves Net Zero Certification
By Smart Veritas · 15 January 2026
Smart Veritas is proud to announce that we have officially achieved net zero certification for 2025, through our ongoing partnership with Tree-Nation.
Since establishing our corporate forest in 2023, we have planted over 1,800 trees across reforestation projects worldwide. These trees offset more than the total carbon emissions generated by our business operations, including travel, office energy, and project-related activities.
A portion of every invoice we issue is contributed to reforestation. This isn't a marketing exercise, it's a fundamental part of how we do business. As engineers working in the offshore environment, we see first-hand the importance of environmental stewardship.
Net zero certification means that our total carbon offset through Tree-Nation exceeds our measured carbon footprint. We work with independent auditors to verify our emissions and ensure the integrity of our offsetting programme.
We remain committed to reducing our actual emissions wherever possible, with offsetting used for residual emissions that cannot yet be eliminated.
