Marine/ Transport & Installation Engineers

Due to rapidly evolving project requirements, Smart Veritas seeks two experienced and dedicated marine/ transport & installation engineers for offshore oil, gas, and renewables projects.

  • Do you have 3-5 years of working on industry projects?

  • Do you have 3-5 years of experience with Orcaflex?

European Citizenship or Permanent Resident Permit Required.

    • Ability to review and implement lines plans and loading conditions using vessel trim and stability booklet.

    • Ability to produce hydrodynamic panel models with appropriate meshing.

    • Experience performing ship stability asessments, towage calculations etc.

    • Deliver high-quality reports and technical notes.

    • Ability to define required load cases.

    • Knowledge and ability to implement applicable codes and standards.

    • Ability to design and perform quayside mooring analysis.

    • Ability to design and perform in-place mooring analysis.

    • Ability to design and perform skidded mooring analysis for various pipeline and cable operations.

    • Ability to perform DP capacity assessments.

    • Ability to deliver operational procedures.

    • Deliver high-quality reports and technical notes.

    • Ability to perform load-out analyses such as quayside lifting, cable load-outs etc.

    • Ability to perform towage design assessments and tug boat sizing studies.

    • Ability to define towage rigging.

    • Ability to deliver operational procedures.

    • Deliver high-quality reports and technical notes.

    • Ability to define required load cases.

    • Knowledge and ability to implement applicable codes and standards.

    • Ability to design and perform various pipeline installation analyses incl. S-lay, J-lay and landfall pull-ins.

    • Ability to deliver operational procedures.

    • Deliver high-quality reports and technical notes.

    • Ability to define required load cases.

    • Knowledge and ability to implement applicable codes and standards.

    • Ability to design and perform various cable installation analyses incl. surface lay, 1st and 2nd end pull-ins and landfall pull-ins.

    • Ability to deliver operational procedures.

    • Deliver high-quality reports and technical notes.

    • Able to produce other supporting procedures such as weather assessments, logistics and mobilisation.

    • Able to produce supporting drawings such as storyboards, rigging arrangements and deck layouts.
