CLASS SURVEYS
Class Surveys
UTM class surveys for hull inspections required by classification societies. Thickness measurements for class renewal, intermediate surveys, pre-docking, and pre-purchase assessments.
We provide UTM class surveys for hull inspections required by classification societies. Surveys begin with a pre-plan meeting involving owners, class surveyors, and inspection personnel to establish measurement locations and access requirements.
Class Renewal & Intermediate Surveys
We perform thickness measurements for class renewal and intermediate surveys in accordance with classification society requirements. Our measurements cover hull shell plating, deck plating, frames, stiffeners, and other structural members as specified in the survey programme.
Pre-Docking Inspections
We carry out pre-docking thickness surveys to identify areas of concern before the vessel enters dry dock. Our inspections enable targeted repair planning, reducing docking time and cost.
Owner-Interest Thickness Evaluations
We perform thickness surveys for owner interest, providing an independent assessment of hull and structural condition outside of class survey requirements. Results support maintenance planning and budgeting for future repairs.
Pre-Purchase Vessel Assessments
We provide thickness surveys as part of pre-purchase condition assessments, giving buyers an independent record of hull condition and remaining material thickness prior to acquisition.
Corrosion Inspections
We inspect hull structures including shell and deck inserts, propeller shafts, propellers, and cyclorotors. Reports are delivered in AutoCAD drawings and spreadsheet formats, including original design thickness, current measured thickness, and percentage wastage calculations.
