WELDING QUALIFICATION SERVICES

Welding Qualification Services

Welding qualification services including Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) to international codes.

Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ)NDT & Destructive TestingAWS, ASME, EN & DNV Codes

We provide welding qualification services covering procedure development, qualification testing, and welder certification to international codes including AWS, ASME, EN ISO, and DNV standards. Our inspectors are qualified to CSWIP 3.1 and 3.2 standards.

01

Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)

We develop and witness Procedure Qualification Records that capture all welding parameters and results from the qualification of a welding procedure. Our PQRs document all essential variables, supplementary essential variables where notch toughness is required, and weld deposit thickness for each process. All mechanical and toughness testing results are recorded and certified.

02

Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)

From qualified PQRs, we develop Welding Procedure Specifications that define the required welding parameters for production welding. Our WPS documents specify joint design, base and filler materials, preheat and interpass temperatures, shielding gas, electrical parameters, and technique to ensure repeatable, code-compliant welds.

03

Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ)

We perform welder and welding operator qualification testing in accordance with EN ISO 9606 and EN ISO 14732. Our qualifications cover plate and pipe, groove and fillet welds, in fixed and rotating positions. Testing includes visual inspection, non-destructive testing, and destructive tests such as guided bend tests, tensile and nick break tests, and macro-etch examination. We issue Welder Performance Qualification Records (WPQR) and welder certificates upon successful completion.

04

NDT & Destructive Testing

We support welding qualifications with a full range of inspection and testing services. Non-destructive methods include visual inspection (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT). Destructive testing covers guided bend tests, tensile tests, nick break tests, macro-etch, and fracture testing.
