Smart Veritas provides project engineering and technical support for the transportation and installation of offshore structures. From load-out at the fabrication yard through ocean transport to final offshore installation, our engineers manage the engineering scope and deliver the procedures, documentation, and on-site support needed for safe execution.

01

Project Engineering

We manage the engineering scope for transport and installation projects, coordinating between fabrication yards, vessel operators, and asset owners. Our project engineers develop the engineering deliverable register, manage design reviews, track progress against schedule, and ensure alignment across all project phases.

02

Procedure Development

We develop detailed procedures for load-out, ocean transport, heavy lift, and offshore installation operations. Our procedures cover skidded, float-over and lift load-out methods and rigging/lift plans. All deliverables are written by engineers with direct offshore experience and produced to DNV standards.

03

Quayside & Offshore Support

We provide project engineers and field engineers for quayside, yard, and offshore activities. Onshore, our engineers oversee load-out operations, seafastening inspections, cargo measurements, and yard fabrication surveillance. Offshore, we support vessel operations with on-board engineering presence, real-time decision-making, and engineering backup throughout the campaign.

04

Structural & Seafastening Design

Through our partner Lanza Engineers, we provide seafastening design and structural engineering for securing structures during ocean transit. Lanza specialise in seafastening arrangements optimised for structural integrity during transport and efficient offshore removal, accounting for vessel motion response and route-specific environmental conditions. They are also market leaders in jacket and topside design, ship collision analysis, and floating wind structures.
